The Swiss Made designation is one of the most regulated quality marks in the world — and one of the hardest to earn.

Under Swiss law, a watch may only carry the Swiss Made label if at least 60% of its production costs are incurred in Switzerland, its movement is Swiss, and its final inspection takes place on Swiss soil. These are legal requirements, enforced by the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property — not a marketing claim any brand can simply adopt.

For over a century, Switzerland has been synonymous with watchmaking precision: an industry built on an obsession with accuracy, longevity, and craft. The country's watchmaking regions — from the Jura to Solothurn — house some of the world's most skilled horological expertise, passed down through generations of specialist manufacturers.

Every Alucène timepiece is produced in partnership with a certified heritage Swiss facility in Solothurn, a region with over a hundred years of watchmaking history. When you see Swiss Made on the dial and caseback of your Alucène, it means every standard that designation demands has been met — and that your timepiece was held to a standard of precision that most of the world's watches never reach.
