The Swiss Made designation is one of the most regulated quality marks in the world — and one of the hardest to earn.
Under Swiss law, a watch may only carry the Swiss Made label if at least 60% of its production costs are incurred in Switzerland, its movement is Swiss, and its final inspection takes place on Swiss soil. These are legal requirements, enforced by the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property — not a marketing claim any brand can simply adopt.
